Half Life
Podcast 17 Interview with Jonathan Lewis
Podcast 17, a weekly audio show discussing mods and news from the Valve/Half-Life sphere just posted my recent interview discussing my latest album release, Combine Road. The interview starts around 71 minutes into the podcast and goes through the end of the show. Also included in this week’s Podcast 17 episode release is an exclusive copy of “Headcrab” as performed by Phillip Marlowe from PlanetPhillip. It’s definitely worth a listen. Thanks again to William McMahon, Glenn Lawrence and Patrick (aka. foxholeboy) for having me on the show.
G-Man’s Still Breathing
My latest song, “G-Man’s Last Breath,” has been getting a lot of attention recently. If you’ve missed the buzz, here are a few posts around the interweb. Thanks to everyone for your feedback and support. This is exactly why the Half Life gaming community is one of the best in the world.
Many of you have been kind enough to spread the word. You can check out Darky’s youtube iteration of the song here or support a Digg by Sullen here.
Thanks again for your thoughts and tips. You can rest assured there will be more music mayhem coming. If you want updates on big announcements, you can sign up for the mailing list here (I don’t bug too much), or get email updates when I blog here. In the meantime, I’ll still be regularly posting and should have a new video up soon. I’m also in the midst of recording my third EP which is slated to come out next month. Stay tuned and rock on.
G-Man’s Last Breath
“G-Man’s Last Breath” is what you get when you mix an extreme fanboy with his favorite thing to do (write music). It’s the direct result of years of playing one of the greatest gaming series in history; Half Life.
You’ll basically need 3 things to fully enjoy this song:
1. To be a Half Life fanboy (or girl).
2. To love and understand the Half Life story.
3. To want to know the the secret behind the story that ties everything together…
If you have no idea what the game’s story is about but would like to enjoy this song, check out this link to get a handle on it. The inspiration for this song came after reading a portion of an interview with Doug Lombardi where he spoke about the next and supposedly last installment of the series; Half-Life 2: Episode Three.
You can download the song for free here on my website or pick it up in any major online store. Let me know what you think!
Update 4/30, 12pm: Due to several requests – check out the link below for lyrics.
