G-Man’s Last Breath
“G-Man’s Last Breath” is what you get when you mix an extreme fanboy with his favorite thing to do (write music). It’s the direct result of years of playing one of the greatest gaming series in history; Half Life.
You’ll basically need 3 things to fully enjoy this song:
1. To be a Half Life fanboy (or girl).
2. To love and understand the Half Life story.
3. To want to know the the secret behind the story that ties everything together…
If you have no idea what the game’s story is about but would like to enjoy this song, check out this link to get a handle on it. The inspiration for this song came after reading a portion of an interview with Doug Lombardi where he spoke about the next and supposedly last installment of the series; Half-Life 2: Episode Three.
You can download the song for free here on my website or pick it up in any major online store. Let me know what you think!
Update 4/30, 12pm: Due to several requests – check out the link below for lyrics.

Behind the Music: The Meg Ryan Song

Meg Ryan - My "CC"
It was early in my high school career that I discovered my celebrity crush. I don’t know if it was the blonde hair, quirky style or happy endings, but by the time “Over the Rainbow” started playing and Tom Hanks’ dog runs up to meet Meg Ryan in the park, I knew it was meant to be (You’ve Got Mail).
Proof of my celebrity crush can be found in this very early version of the song I recorded in high school.

*cringe* I’m proud of you if you can make it through the whole thing. Now please, don’t judge. It’s not easy airing out the ole’ music closet.
As you can tell with the new version of the song, I decided to re-write the whole thing. It took me one day to write 90% of the new song. It also took me about 1 day to record (just for reference, between recording instruments, vocals and mixing the music, some songs can take weeks in my laundry room studio).
It’s definitely one of my simpler recordings, but I like it that way. It uses a slow build with minimal instruments. If you don’t count anything twice, I use roughly 17 Meg Ryan movie titles or references during the song.
I hope you enjoy the song as much as I’ve enjoyed my CC. Don’t forget to click the comment link below and let me know what you think!

“Up”date
Why do they call it an “up”date? Why not a “down”date or a “side”date? What about a “news”date? That sounds a little more accurate. In any case, this is a “date” of some sort in which I communicate what’s going on.
I will be releasing a new song soon for everyone who’s itching for another tune before the next album. It’s a separate project I’ve been working on and won’t be included on the next EP (coming soon). It’s a little bit rock, a little bit opera, and a lot bit awesome. Look out for the release here and on iTunes in the next week or two.
I’m also working on another video. Probably not as elaborate as the last, but fun nonetheless. Watch for that soon too.
Last but not least, I’ve decided to post a series called “Behind the Music.” No, I haven’t hired a film crew to document my every muscial move (not yet at least), but I will be posting regular fun tidbits about the various songs on each album, the inspiration behind hits like BFF and Poligamize Me, and other interesting notes. Watch for these updates at least once or twice a week.
That’s what’s crackin for now. Talk to you soon.
